Employee Engagement & Leadership Survey 2010
Do you know the state of engagement in your organisation?
With disengaged employees costing Australian organisations as much as AUD $32 billion, New Zealand firms AUD $4 billion and Singapore firms more than SGD $3 billion annually in lost productivity (source: Gallup research since 2001) it really does pay to know how your organisation stacks up
As part of the data collection process for BlessingWhite's Global Employee Engagement Survey 2010 we’re allowing a select few organisations to simultaneously take part in this global initiative AND get a comprehensive "Snapshot Report" on the state of Employee Engagement in their own backyard (organisation).
This is your chance to:
- Finally get some specific, measurable data on the state of engagement in your organisation rather than just going off 'gut-feel'.
- Drill down on the specific leadership skills required to enhance your development strategies and grow the culture.
- Test the use of this kind of diagnostic at a minimal cost and without the cumbersome data collection and reporting that usually accompanies 'Engagement Surveys'.
- Hone in on the methods of engagement that work so you can focus budgets and energy on the methods that really get results.
- Give your people a voice and discover exactly what they are seeking from their job, their mangers and your senior leaders.
- Get key stakeholders together and put together an enduring action plan that secures the future of employee engagement in your organisation – survey less, act more!
No another Survey!
Yes, there are a lot of surveys out there, many of which will give you a good feel as to whether your people are engaged (or not). This is great, but in order to act you need to know more than that.
Utilising BlessingWhite’s proven survey methodology we’ll be able to tell you exactly how engaged your people are and break down the results even further to give you an indication of which types of engagement (or disengagement) are prevalent in your organisation.
In addition, you’ll be able to gain critical insights from your employees such as:
- Will employees stay? Why or why not?
- How do they feel about your organisation and its senior leaders?
- Do they understand the organisations direction?
- How do they feel about their jobs?
- What would most improve their satisfaction and performance?
- Are their talents being maximised and focused on what matters most?
- What do they think about their relationship with their manager?
A "Consulting Approach" Not a "Survey Approach"
We see this survey as a first step, not a definitive solution. It's the actions you take and direct business results that count.
Therefore, BlessingWhite have designed this survey in a way that is simple and less burdensome than some of the other alternatives available. You wont be wading through mountains of data or trying to decipher complex graphs and charts. Leave that to us. We'll give you the insights you need take action!
Using the powerful knowledge generated from the survey as a baseline, our consulting team will work with you to decide on the best combination of leadership strategies to curb disengagement and get the best possible contribution from your people whilst maximising their satisfaction – the key to full engagement.
What ‘s involved?
This process is designed for organisations of over 250+ people and involves a complete survey administration, reporting and consulting process. During the data collection period for the BlessingWhite 2010 Engagement Survey (Now until September 15 2010) we’ll open the survey up to your employees where they’ll provide invaluable feedback through a simple survey on their engagement level, their job and how they perceive management’s role in engaging them.
From here, we’ll collate the data, produce a "Snapshot Report", debrief your key stakeholders on the findings and work with you to decide on appropriate engagement initiatives moving forward. Your data will also contribute to BlessingWhite's Global Employee Engagement Survey which will provide a benchmark from which we can draw comparisons.

This is a great opportunity to get a grasp of the key drivers of engagement in your organisation.
What is Employee Engagement?
Employee Engagement has long been emphasised as a key driver of business success but it involves a delicate balance between the needs of individual employees and the organisation alike.
While it is clear that 'engaged' employees offer a greater contribution to corporate goals, each individual must also discover a personal connection and satisfaction with their work to remain enthused and in gear. That's why BlessingWhite believes that; "aligning employees' values, goals and aspirations with those of the organisation is the best method for achieving the sustainable employee engagement required for an organisation to reach its goals."
Therefore, full engagement represents an alignment of maximum job satisfaction ("I like my work and do it well") with maximum contribution ("I help achieve the goals of my organisation").
