This is my fourth year trout or fly fishing. I love it. I only fish for a couple of hours, maybe 3 or 4 times a year. I could do more, but that's not what it's about. It's about the magic of the Australian bush, our high country and the beauty of the Thredbo River. At around 1,000 metres it literally is breathtaking scenery. The greys and greens of our bush, the deep reflections and constant, sometimes deafening sound of the river pounding over the rocks and the pressure of the current against my legs.
