How is it different?

Tailored approach

Different organisations require different leadership behaviours. You know that a standard ‘off the shelf’ leadership development programme wont work. You need something tied to your strategic intent and the leadership behaviours required to develop your culture.

We’ll work extensively with you to engineer a programme that is just right for your organisation. We won’t dish you up any predetermined goals or insist that you include certain development components. You’ll set the tone for the programme and choose the leadership competencies that you want your participants to focus on.

Learning’s that stick

This Leadership Development Programme is not just about workshop sessions. Incorporated into the program is a real life project undertaken by participants called the Opportunity For Improvement (O.F.I). This cross functional project is designed to get your leaders to put into practice their learning’s in a real business situation to give you a tangible way of assessing the return on your investment.

Setting you up for the long term

Higher Ground gives your participants the skills to develop the leaders around them. Think about that for a moment. If your leaders are passing on the skills they learn from this Leadership Development Programme they will essentially build the leadership culture themselves.

Measuring R.O.I

Of course you’ll want to track the progress of your leaders. That’s why we’ve included four levels of measurement to track your leaders’ journeys:

Self Measurement – each participant will measure their progress using simple scaling techniques and self assessment instruments.

Others perceptions – An appropriate 360 Degree Feedback tool is used to measure the impact of the leaders behaviour at the beginning and end of the program.

Leadership Culture – The Organisational Development Questionnaire (ODQ) is used to measure the change in leadership culture and the balance of transactional and transformational leadership behaviours.

Whole Business Outcomes – Before the programme we’ll agree on an appropriate measure of ‘business success’.
