Making an Impact: presenting with clarity, authenticity and spontaneity

Making an Impact is a 2 day communication and presentation skills course designed to help leaders and managers to tap into their 'presence' and discover their own unique style of presenting. You'll learn to communicate with an increased sense of clarity, authenticity and spontaneity.

Drawing on the most current knowledge and principles of performance, psychology and human communication, this exciting programme will revolutionise your approach to presenting, communicating and leading.

Leaders, Managers and Presenters or indeed anyone who has an aspiration and commitment to become an exceptional and inspiring presenter and communicator.

Workshop Content

The content is highly practical and experimental, strongly underpinned by the principles, skills and techniques of successful presenters, performers and communicators.

Drawing on the most current discoveries and knowledge of human communication, and psychology combined with time honoured skills and techniques of performance and theatre, the programme focuses on your most powerful resource, you.

In an atmosphere of safety, trust, playful interaction and clear feedback, you’ll be challenged to release all the parts of you, not just the ones you currently feel comfortable with.

Form of Delivery

Over the two days, participants can expect to take an active part in practical exercises involving improvisation, storytelling, voice and body work, "mask" work, building rapport, developing presence, timing, spontaneity, emotional truth, humour, expanding ones sense of self, relationship to self and audience, getting to the truth of your message (what is it that you really want to say?), sources of inspiration, spontaneous and prepared presentations, group discussion, specific individual feedback plus video replay.

The programme is delivered "in-house".

2 days, plus an evening session and preparation time. (maximum of 12 participants)

Facilitator

This programme is facilitated by Steve Matthews.
