In this episode, we touch on how much of your feelings you should share with your team when you’re feeling low.
Here’s the question:
“How do you lead with authenticity while feeling low yourself as a leader? How do you share how you feel with your team and show vulnerability without bringing everyone down with you or making them feel unsure about your resilience or leadership?”
Do you just cover up your feelings and soldier on, play “rah-rah”, or collapse into a screaming heap? Cause that’s what you feel like doing.
Like most things in life, it’s a balance. Being “real” doesn’t mean you necessarily share all of yourself, all at once.
Strategic disclosure is often the key.
