In this episode, I share some ideas on what to do if you feel stuck in your career. You know that feeling which is so beautifully expressed by Queen in their song “I want to break free!“.
Here’s the question:
“As a leader, it is important to grow those around you. However with little ability to move up for me personally and having giving opportunities to those under you to grow and develop and they are now well beyond you in terms of influence and almost status what would you suggest I do to continue my own development?”
The way I see it there are three options. That of IN, OUT and UP.
I’m sure this weeks episode will get you thinking about your own career and how the grass may not always be greener on the other side.
“We shall not cease from exploration
And the end of all our exploring
Will be to arrive where we started
And know the place for the first time.”
-T.S. Eliot –
